Abia Warriors hand Amapakabo three game ultimatum

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club Abia Warriors have handed head coach, Imama Amapakabo a three match ultimatum.
The Warriors, under Amapakabo have lost all four games so far played in the NPFL.
An opening day 0-1 defeat to neighbours, Enyimba International was followed by a loss by the same margin, at home to Rivers United.
The Umuahia club then lost consecutively to Akwa United in Uyo and Jigawa Golden Stars in Aba on Wednesday.
A return of zero points from a possible 12 has now forced the hand of the club’s management who have now warned that Imama must lead the Warriors to wins jn their next three league games ‘or face the music’.
“The Management of Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia has given the Technical Crew the mandate to win their next three games or be ready to face the music,” the statement read. “The ultimatum came after Management held an emergency meeting with the coaches at the Club’s Secretariat in Umuahia following the dismal performance of the team in the on-going Nigeria Professional Football League where Abia Warriors have lost their first four league games.
“The Management reiterated that the team has no reason not to do well considering the caliber of players in the team pointing out that technical crew, led by Imama Amapakabo has enjoyed the greatest support and cooperation ever given to any crew in the Club’s history.”
Abia Warriors’ next three games are against FC Ifeanyiubah in Nnewi, MFM FC in Aba and Lobi Stars in Makurdi.
