Ahmed Musa rejoins Kano Pillars

Ahmed Musa has rejoined Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Kano Pillars on loan until the end of the season.

Musa, who is the captain of Nigeria’s men’s national team, the Super Eagles was top scorer in the NPFL with 18 goals in the 2009/10 season as a Kano Pillars player.

Musa is currently a free agent after leaving Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr where he netted nine goals in 50 league appearances for the club. Confirming the news on Wednesday,  Kano Pillars spokesman Idris Malikawa revealed that Musa will play for the Masu Gida until the end of the current season.  “Ahmad Musa is our own,” Malikawa said. “Pillars FC will continue to support him anytime and anywhere he found himself.” Malikawa added that Musa will be free to leave Pillars at anytime, provided he gets a deal to join (an overseas based club).
