Bayern Munich have won the Uefa Champions League for the sixth time, beating French champions Paris Saint Germain 1-0 at the Stadium of Light on Sunday night (August 23), courtesy of Kingsley Coman’s 59th-minute goal.
Bayern have now won all 11 matches in the Uefa Champions League in 2020, finishing the year with an aggregate score of 43-8
Coman headed past Keylon Navas in goal for PSG from a cross by Joshua Kimmich as the German side punished PSG for wasting opportunities in the first half. Both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe failed to convert.
Bayern coach Hansi Flick has really overachieved, considering he had to take over from Niko Kovac who was struggling until he was sacked by Bayern in November 2019, Flick has now won a treble including the Bundesliga, German Cup and now the Uefa Champions League.
This was a sad night for Kylian Mbappe and his strike partner, Neymar, however. MORE/
