Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga on Tuesday night (June 16), after beating Weder Bremen through star striker Robert Lewandowski‘s first-half goal, scored just before the interval.
This was the Polish striker’s 46th goal of the season in all competitions and takes his Bundesliga tally to 31 as he controlled the ball brilliantly with his chest before beating Jiri Pavlenka in goal for Bremen.
It was an unusual moment for the Bavarians – who have now won the Bundesliga for the last eight seasons on the trot – with the win coming in front of an empty Weser Stadium.
