Bundesliga Wrap, matchday 33 (Sunday): Dortmund, Leipzig and Wolfsburg all secure Champions League qualification

Bundesliga Wrap, matchday 33 (Sunday): Dortmund, Leipzig and Wolfsburg all secure Champions League qualification
Borussia Dortmund have secured a place in the 2021-22 UEFA Champions League after defeating 1. FSV Mainz 05 3-1.
Fresh off their DFB Pokal triumph, the Yellow and Black took the lead through Raphaël Guerreiro’s goal on 23 minutes.
Captain Marco Reus doubled their tally three minutes before halftime and Julian Brandt added a third in the 80th minute.
Mainz netted a consolation after Robin Quaison converted a penalty in the first minute of second half injury time.
Dortmund are up to third on the Bundesliga standings after amassing 61 points from 33 games while their opponents are 13th with 39 points.
RasenBallsport Leipzig and VfL Wolfsburg will join Dortmund and Bayern Munich in the competition next season after sharing the spoils in a four-goal thriller.
Maximilian Phillip netted a brace for Wolfsburg but Leipzig launched a second half comeback thanks to goals from Justin Kluivert on 57 minutes and a penalty from Marcel Sabitzer on 78 minutes.
Leipzig are second on the log after amassing 65 points, four points ahead of Wolfsburg who are in fourth.
