Chelsea winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi has been arrested and released on bail, according to UK press sources, following an incident at the player’s residence involving a model. It was unclear whether charges had been laid, although the BBC reported that the arrest was on “suspicion of rape”. The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The two had broken UK lockdown rules, which specify that individuals from separate dwellings may only meet outdoors and must maintain a 2-meter gap.
Paramedics also came to the 19 year-old player’s penthouse apartment, and the woman was taken to hospital.
A statement issued by London Metropolitan police said:
“Police and London Ambulance Service were called at 03:53hrs on Sunday 17 May to a report of an unwell woman.”
