Nigeria’s Minister for Sport, Sunday Dare has delivered a thinly-veiled message to the effect that he wants the country’s national team coach, Gernot Rohr, sacked. Nigeria’s Super Eagles posted two underwhelming results in 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying against Sierra Leone as they failed to record victories in any of the two games in Benin and Freetown.

Dare was less than impressed and promptly took to Twitter to voice his sentiments.
”The performance of the Super Eagles ? from the last 2 matches calls to question the suitability & competences of…Rohr..Nigerian football deserves better..The needful will be done..”
Nigeria currently leads Group L with eight points from four games.
