Dimgba leaves Enyimba for Stellenbosch FC

Nigerian striker, Stanley Dimgba has joined South Africa Premier Soccer League club Stellenbosch FC. Dimgba joins from Nigeria’s most successful football club, Enyimba International FC.

The 29-year-old attacker was part of the Enyimba side that won the Nigeria Professional Football League title in 2019. He was also part of the Nigeria U23 side that won the Africa Cup of Nations title in Senegal in 2015.

Confirming the news on Twitter, Stellenbosch FC announced that the fearsome attacker has joined on a long term deal and will be looking to make a big impression in the PSL.
“Stellenbosch FC is delighted to announce its latest acquisition:  Stanley Dimgba Sopuruchi,” the tweet read.
“The Nigerian International joins the club on a long term basis ready to make his mark on the PSL. Welcome Stanley.”
Dimgba scored 12 goals and provided 3 assists in the Nigerian top-flight and CAF Confederation Cup last season for Enyimba Int’l FC.
