Emenalo poised to join Serie A club, AS Roma

Former Nigeria international, Michael Emenalo has reportedly reached an agreement with Italian club, AS Roma to join the former Serie A champions as Director of Sport according to multiple reports in Italy.


Emenalo, who is also a former Chelsea and Monaco Director is one of the candidates to become for the new Director of sport of the Serie A giants after that the Giallorossi sacked Gianluca Petrachi in the summer.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Petrachi has sued Roma asking a €5m compensation as he believes he was dismissed without just cause.


Emenalo has reportedly agreed to join Roma but the club have yet to make a final decision.
The Nigerian director has met Roma’s owners in London and has reportedly received guarantees on the autonomy he would have covering the role with Dan Friedkin who was conquered by his gentle attitude.


The likes of Jonas Boldt and Ralf Rangnick have also being linked with the Giallorossi while Emenalo is only waiting for a call from Roma to move to the Capital.
