Hertha Berlin win Berlin Derby vs Union

A first goal by Nigerian forward Taiwo Awoniyi was not enough as Hertha Berlin won the Berlin derby 3 goals to 1 against Awoniyi’s Union Berlin at the Olympic Stadium.

Union are not nicknamed ‘the Iron Ones’ for nothing and Urs Fischer’s men had been enjoying a club record eight-game unbeaten streak until last night.
