Inter Milan attacker, Romelu Lukaku does not believe that the Nerrazzuri are a complete unit yet despite their stirring come from behind 4-2 win over Torino on Sunday.
Lukaku netted twice as Inter came from two goals down to defeat Torino at the Guiseppe Meazza.
The Belgian attacker declared afterwards that Inter are not yet a big team despite the commanding victory recorded.
“Honestly, we are not a big team yet,” the former Manchester United striker told DAZN.
“It’s not good to struggle as we did in the first 60 minutes, we played badly.
“We played without anger, without desire to win. We woke up later and the most important thing was to gain the three points.
“No (I am not the leader of the team), I am only a player who wants to help his teammates, I don’t like when people say I am a leader.
“We have many important players who have been playing here for a long time. I am only a 25-year-old guy who plays here and wants to do well, let’s hope we can win something but we must do more because today we didn’t play a good game.”
Belgium coach Roberto Martinez has recently said Lukaku is going through the best moment of his career.
“I am improving, I always try to do it. My motivation is to win something, I want to do my best for Inter and I can only do it with a good coach that helps me every day and with the team that allows me to do great things.”
The former Chelsea and Everton striker did also explain the ‘machine gun celebration’ with Lautaro Martinez.
“Lautaro wants to start playing Call of Duty with me and [Achraf] Hakimi, we are beginning, this week I gave him a PS5 so he can start playing with us.”
