The match day two Nigeria Professionally Football League (NPFL) game between Kwara United and Enyimba International has been postponed.
The game was originally scheduled to hold on Sunday, January 3 at the Illorin Township but it has now been rearranged.
Confirming the development to SPNNews Africa, spokesman of Enyimba International, Samuel Bariza said the decision was taken because of Enyimba’s continental engagements.
Enyimba will face Sudanese club, Al Merreikh in a first round CAF Champions League clash in Aba on January 6 looking to overturn a 3-0 first leg deficit.
“The game against Kwara United has been postponed because of our CAF Champions League game next week,” Bariza said. “It is important that our team is well prepared for the big game as we look to do Nigeria proud.”
The rearranged game will now be played on January 20 in Illorin.
