Lille OSC have returned to the summit of Ligue 1 after a routine 2-0 win over Nice on Saturday.
Burak Yilmaz opened the scoring for the home side in the 13th minute at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
Mehmet Zeki Celik then made the points safe in the 56th minute.
Lille 76 from 75 points, a point clear of the reigning champions, PSG who had earlier beaten Lens 2-1 at Parc des Princes to temporarily move top. Neymar and Marquinhos netted for Les Parisiens either side of half time rendering Ignatius Ganago’s second half effort inconsequential.
PSG head coach Mauricio Pochettino was without Kylian Mbappe for this one, with the star attacker watching from the stands instead of being risked in between the two legs of PSG’s Champions League semi-final with Manchester City.
Neymar did start against Lens and he provided the opening goal, coolly finishing past Wuilker Farinez just after half an hour in.
Marquinhos, who opened the scoring against City on Wednesday, repeated his trick by heading in another corner to double PSG’s lead.
Ganago then halved the deficit for the visitors almost immediately but PSG held on for all three points in their pursuit of the title.
