Manchester United and Chelsea will face off in the first semi-final of the FA Cup, while Arsenal square off with Manchester City in the second. The draws were made at half-time during the Newcastle v Manchester City quarter-finals game.
United were the first to advance to the semis on Saturday, after defeating Norwich 2-1 thanks to Harry Maguire’s 118th-minute winner at the end of extra-time after Todd Cantwell’s equalizer for Norwich in the 75th minute and Odion Ighalo’s opener in the 51st minute.
Arsenal won at Sheffield United with a late winner by Dani Ceballos. Nicolas Pepe had opened the scoring in the first half from the penalty spot with David McGoldrick equalizing late for United and it was a blow for Sheffield when Ceballos scored soon after to shoot the Gunners through.
Chelsea beat Leicester 1-0 on Sunday to advance with the lone goal by Ross Barkley.
Man City won 2-0 at St James’ Park against Newcastle and it was Kevin De Bryne from the penalty spot in the first half and Raheem Sterling with the goals.
