PSG star, Kylian Mbappe will miss Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash against German club, RB Leipzing with a hamstring injury.
The French club had originally reported that Mbappe was only suffering from fatigue as he missed out on training with the rest of the squad on Monday.
It has now been confirmed that the France international has been ruled out of the Group H clash against Leipzig on Wednesday following an update on the French club’s official website.
“(Mbappe has been ruled) out of the match against Nantes (last Saturday) with muscle discomfort in the right hamstring, he is not available to travel to Germany and his unavailability will be reassessed in 48 hours.”
PSG will also be without forwards, Neymar and Mauro Icardi who are also sidelined with injury.
The South American duo are not expected to be seen again until after the November international break.
Manager, Thomas Tuchel is now going to have to get creative when it comes to his attacking selection against Leipzig.
Marco Verratti and Julian Draxler, other members of the walking wounded at Parc des Princes, are also being ruled out until the end of the month.
