Enugu Rangers forward, Ifegwu Ojukwu has said his side are going all out for the whole three points at stake in the top-flight clash against neighbours, Lobi Stars.
The Flying Antelopes are host of the Pride of Benue in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 6 clash at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
Prior to the NPFL matchday 6 matchup, the Coal City side were forced to a 1-1 draw by hosts, MFM FC in Lagos while the Makurdi won 2-1 at home against Dakkada FC.
Ojukwu said his side have resolved to win all their home matches in the on-going top-flight irrespective of the pedigree of opposition.
“It’s a derby match given the closeness between Enugu and Benue so one should expect good fight and good game from both sides.
“Right now we are not in the mood to negotiate the points with anyone on our home ground we are equally extending the resolve to away matches, too.
“We are already setting a 10-match unbeaten record and we are determined to achieve the record before anyone else.
“We have no choice at the moment than to claim the whole three points at stake against Lobi Stars.
“We know that Lobi Stars are coming to Enugu with a fight, a big fight. I learnt that Lobi Stars have not lost a match in Enugu in the past three seasons but they are losing this particular one on Sunday.
“Our problems in the past matches were missed chances, we create chances but I believe all that will change in the game against Lobi Stars.
“We are getting the whole three points and nothing less than two unanswered goals in the match,” said the former Dakkada FC and Enyimba goal poacher.
The Enugu landlords are fourth on the 20-team top-flight log on 10 points two behind league leaders, Rivers United.
