Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen missed training earlier in the week with his Italian club, SSC Napoli. The 21-year-old attacker was not present on Monday morning at Castel Volturno for the usual morning session due to what the club called an official commitment.
The club announced via its official media outlets that Osimhen had to skip training because he was required to sort out the paperwork related to the passport.
“Osimhen was not present at the training to carry out bureaucratic procedures relating to the passport”
The Nigerian attacker has been in great form for Napoli in pre-season netting two hattricks in as many matches for the Partenopei. Osimhen joined Napoli on 31 July 2020 from French club, Lille OSC for a club-record fee of €70 million potentially rising to €80 million with add-ons.
