Reports are rife in Italy that Juventus manager, Andrea Pirlo is on the verge of being sacked unless results improve drastically.
Respected media outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, claims that Pirlo will be sacked if Juventus do not record positive results against Torino and Napoli.
The Old Lady face the Granata at the Stadio Grande Torino on April 3 and host Napoli at the Allianz Stadium in the rescheduled fixture from match day 4 on April 8.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, these two games will be decisive for the former Italy midfielder’s future.
Pirlo could be sacked or hand his resignation if Juventus “pick up negative results” against Granata and the Azzurri writes the paper.
Another Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com reports that Pirlo’s assistant Igor Tudor could come in as an interim coach until the end of the season if Pirlo and the club part ways before the end of the season.
Juventus sit third in the Serie A table, ten points off leaders Inter.
They have been eliminated from the Champions League round of 16, but booked their place in the Coppa Italia Final.
