PSG through to Uefa Champions League finals

Paris Saint German secured their first-ever qualification for the Uefa Champions League finals by beating RB Leipzig 3-0 in Lisbon. This was their second attempt since reaching the semis back in 1995.

The night belonged to Angel Di Maria who had a hand in all three goals. Brazilian defender, Marquinhos put PSG ahead in the 12th minute, connecting with Angel Di Maria’s cross to place the ball perfectly into the back corner.

Di Maria was also involved in the second goal by pressing the keeper, causing Leipzig to give the ball away. Neymar’s audacious flick set up Di Maria in the box and the Argentine found the bottom right corner.

The third goal came from another Di Maria cross from the left which was initially connected by Juan Bernat but Leipzig managed to repel. However, Nordi Mukiele slipped and Bernat made no mistake, converting to wrap up a historic win.
