The management of top Nigerian football club, Rangers International F.C has received an audited report of its financial activities for the past season from a state government approved auditing firm, Aghaduno Dieli & Co.
Presenting the document, the leader of the auditing firm, Professor Robinson Ugwuoke, congratulated the club’s management under the leadership of Prince Davidson Owumi, for prudence in managing the finances allocated to the club.
“Let me start by thanking you for providing to my team all documents required for us to function effectively for the two months we worked here. I must say that members of the team are highly impressed with your performance in handling financial matters and urge for a continuation,” said the highly respected professor of accounts.
Prince Owumi while receiving the audited report at the corporate headquarters of the club, said, “I thank the government and good people of Enugu state for giving us the opportunity to serve. We feel honored to have gotten the all-clear from the external auditors with regards to financial management and hope to continue in that stead.”
At the brief presentation ceremony was the administrative secretary of the club, Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuerua; head of finance, Edwin Obodo, and other management staff.
Recall that an audited report of the financial activities of a club is one of the requirements for club licensing demanded by the football administrators in the country.
