Ronaldo on target, as Juve extend Serie A lead

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 22nd goal of the season for Juventus as the old Lady beat Bologna as to enhance their Serie A title defence extending their lead over Lazio by four points.

Lazio travel to Bergamo on Wednesday to face a stiff test from Atalanta and will be hoping to prevent Juventus from winning a month straight Serie A title.

Ronaldo gave Juve the lead from a penalty after Matthijs de Ligt was fouled by Stefano Denswil.

Paulo Dybala scored the second goal after being set up by Federico Bernardeschi’s excellent backheel.

Juventus ended with the game with 10 men after Danilo was sent off.

Juve controlled the second half and could have won with more goals after Bernardeschi hit the post and Ronaldo had a goal ruled out for offside.
