Legendary Italian coach, Fabio Capello has identified Brazilian forward, Ronaldo as the greatest player he ever managed.
Capello managed Ronaldo for six months during his second tenure at Real Madrid from 2006 – 2007.
The Italian trainer however noted that managing the Brazilian at Real wasn’t always without complications.
“The greatest talent I ever coached was Ronaldo,” Capello told SkySports.
“But at the same time he was the player who created the most problems for me in the dressing room.
“He used to throw parties and do everything. Once Ruud Van Nistelrooy said to me ‘coach, the dressing room smells like alcohol’.
“Then Ronaldo went to Milan and we started to win, but if we’re talking about talent then he was the greatest, without a doubt,” the coach affirmed.
Ronaldo himself has admitted that his parties were some of the best in Madrid. He was a “happy-go-lucky” individual, who blessed the game with his incredible talent, but made sure to have his fun along the way.
