Egyptian forward, Mohamed Salah has refused to commit his long term future to Premier League champions, Liverpool.
The 28-year-old attacker netted 19 Premier League goals from 33 games this season as the Reds romped to their first top flight title in 30 years. Salah was recently quizzed about his long term plans and he refused to categorically make a commitment in that context to the Anfield club.
“I just want to enjoy today and enjoy the moment,” Salah told LA FM Colombia.
“No one knows the future and what will happen. Let’s see what will happen.
“But at the moment we win the Champions League, we win the Premier League, I’m happy.
“Let’s see what will happen in the future, but I’m very happy to win and achieve those trophies,” he said.
Real Madrid were previously linked with a sensational £126 million swoop for the former Chelsea man. Salah has won the Premier League Golden Boot in the last two seasons but looks set to miss out this year. He sits fourth behind Jamie Vardy (23), Danny Ings (21) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (20).
Salah has just one game left to bridge the four-goal gap – Sunday’s (July 26) away game against Newcastle.
