Southampton have released their new away kit for next season to complete their line-up for the campaign, following the unveiling of their home and third ‘sash’ strips. The unveiling continues with a theme of honouring Saints’ history as the club prepares to celebrate its 135th anniversary.
With a sleek navy-blue design, the kit harks back to the colour used for the team’s shorts and socks throughout much of its early history, from 1891 all the way through to 1950. The navy is complemented by accents of yellow and Solent blue intended to conjure memories of the iconic 1976 FA Cup final victory.
The home shirt, worn in the win over Sheffield United on the final day of the 2019/20 Premier League season, has already broken all of the club’s pre-order records, and the away kit, which also comes with Club Partner Virgin Media’s badge on the left sleeve, is expected to prove extremely popular as well.
The kit will be available to purchase from Monday 17th August, and will be available to pre-order from 9am BST on Monday 3rd August, either online [https://www.southamptonfc.com/store] or by visiting the club’s Westquay store.
