  • Zinedine Zidane is reportedly set to leave his role as manager of Real Madrid at the end of the season.
According to Spanish radio station, Onda Cero and also Marca, Zidane informed his players of his decision before their two-all draw with Sevilla last weekend.
The Frenchman who took over for a second spell at the club in 2019 has a contract until 2022, it looks like his time at the club will come to an abrupt end.
The Madrid gaffer also fueled speculation in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Athletic Bilbao, saying: “There are times when change is best for everyone.”
The back-to-back-to-back Champions League winner has also been linked to a return to Turin with Juventus after previously shining as a player.
The ‘Old Lady’ have been trying to convince Zidane to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo and according to Tuttosport, Juve are readying an offer to which would see him earn less than he does in the Spanish capital.
Former Juventus manager, Massimilliano Allegri has been is been rumoured to take over Zidane’s job at Real alongside outgoing Germany national team coach Joachim Löw and Real Madrid Castilla’s Raul Gonzalez.
