Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed that he is unsure of where his future lies when his loan stint at Besiktas ends.
The forward joined the Turkish giants from Serie A side Fiorentina in January for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
Boateng, who had struggled for consistency at Fiorentina – a side he joined in the summer, appeared to have settled in well at Besiktas before the pandemic Coronavirus outbreak forced football to be stopped across most parts of the globe.
“I don’t know if I will go back to Florence or not, the market is strange. It is a bad time for everyone but I carry in my heart all my former companions even if they have not seen the real Boateng at Fiorentina,” the 33-year-old told Sky Sports.
“I have a bit of regret. I arrived in Florence wanting to prove my worth but for many reasons, I didn’t succeed. If I come back I want to split everything, Florence is the right place. But you do not know what will happen.
Kevin-Prince Boateng, who recently revealed playing for Besiktas had been on the agenda since 2018, has been tipped to accept a permanent deal from the Istanbul-based side at the end of the loan spell.
