FC Barcelona have reportedly offered unsettled France international, Antoine Griezmann to Italian giants, Juventus.
According to the Italian news outlet, Rai Sport, the Catalan club sees this transfer as a good way of aiding the rebuilding of a side that has seen significant investment over recent years with little improvement on the field.
Much of the club’s success continues to flow through the genius of Lionel Messi. Journalist Paolo Paganini reports that talks between the two clubs are already underway and Barça are open to losing 29-year-old in exchange for money and the arrival of two Juve players, namely Douglas Costa and Adrien Rabiot.
The report also claims that the good relationship forged between the two clubs was recently strengthened with the Miralem Pjanic – Arthur Melo agreement; one that raised the eyebrows of accounting experts and which gives further reason for pundits to believe the transfer of Griezmann to the Italian team is possible.
Although there are some Juve fans that would be licking their lips at the prospect of Griezmann linking up with Ronaldo next season Paganini also referred to attempts to offload the Frenchman to PSG for Neymar and Inter for Lautaro.
