Man United eye Permanent Ighalo deal

Manchester United looks set to offer Odion Ighalo a permanent deal following his productive short loan spell.

Daily Mail reports that “there is already a willingness at Old Trafford to sign Ighalo permanently after the former Watford striker scored four goals in his first eight matches.”

Shanghai, his Chinese Club value Ighalo at £15m and are willing to sell the Nigeria International who will be 31 in June.

Ighalo was a surprise deadline day signing for United who failed to secure a move for Bournemouth Striker, Josh King and was initially thought to be a stopgap but he has proven to be an inspired signing, scoring 4 goals in his first 8 games for the Club.

Shengai didn’t ask United for a loan fee because United agreed to contribute £130,000 a week to his reported £300,000 a week wages.

Ighalo has impressed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United fans with his performance so far and the United faithful have warmed up to the self-confessed United fan.
