Kwara United produced a stunning performance on Sunday, beating Plateau United 2-0 in Jos as the 2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season got underway with a bang.
The Afonja Warriors claimed a brilliant win with raised more than a few eyebrows with Jide Fatokun and Michael Ohanu netting for the away side on 62 and 67 minutes.

Veteran, Rabiu Ali opened the scoring for the visitors in the 13th minutes but parity was restored by the home side on 75 minutes with Isa Garba getting a goal scoring contribution as both sides settled for a share of the spoils.
Ebenezer Odeyemi and Muyiwa Balogun scored first half goals as MFM FC defeated Warri Wolves 2-1 at the Soccer Temple, the Agege Stadium in Lagos.
John Paul Chinedu scored for the Seasiders in the 27th minute.
