The Professional Fighters League (PFL) made its North African debut at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, Morocco, where the continent’s top fighters battled in tournament semifinals and vied for supremacy across six weight classes.

In the heavyweight main event, Senegal’s Abdoulaye Kane silenced the crowd with a first-round technical knockout over local favourite, Moroccan Badr “Dastan” Medkouri.

In the co-main event, Algeria’s Yanis Ghemmouri secured a unanimous decision over Morocco’s Taha Bendaoud in a featherweight bout.

The event also saw several tournament matchups for the upcoming PFL Africa finals, which will take place on December 12, 2026, at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.

In the welterweight division, Angola’s Shido Boris Esperança advanced with a TKO victory over South Africa’s Peace Nguphane, setting up a clash against undefeated David Samuel, who secured a decision win over Rivaldo Pereira.

In the lightweight bracket, Nigeria’s Patrick Ocheme secured a body kick TKO over compatriot Cornel Thompson to advance to the finals.

He will face Senegal’s Demba Seck, who moved forward after his bout with Hussain Al Kurdi was ruled a no-contest due to an accidental groin strike.

In the bantamweight division, Liberia’s Dwight Joseph secured a win over Angola’s Boule Godogo and will clash with Raphael Uchegbu, who advanced after his semifinal opponent missed weight.

The card concluded with additional victories for regional and international prospects across various weight classes, featuring wins by Morocco’s Reda Abdellaoui and Abderrahman Errachidy, Senegal’s Mouhamed Ba, and Nigeria’s Jane Osigwe.
