Real Sociedad have returned to the top of the top of La Liga despite drawing 1-1 against Eibar on Sunday.
La Real have been the surprise package of the season, punching above their weight and producing some enthralling football along the way.
Ander Barrenetxea opened the scoring for the leaders at Reale Seguros Stadium in the 20th minute but they were soon to be pegged back.
Eibar however got back on level terms in the 65th minute through a remarkable team goal.
Bryan Gil created space for himself on the far side and delivered a deep cross which Takashi Inui diverted towards the direction of second half substitute, Sergi Enrich.
Enrich spun on a sixpence and smacked a half volley past the La Real goalkeeper, Alex Remiro.
The hosts thought they had won it late on but Igor Zubeldia’s effort in the 80th minute was ruled out.
Real Soceidad now have 26 points from 13 matches but are top of the standings as second placed Atletico Madrid who have amassed the same number of points have scored two goals fewer than La Real.
