Inter Milan’s Belgian striker, Romelu Lukaku believes Mason Greenwood is the best young player at Manchester United.
Lukaku joined Inter Milan from Manchester United last summer, with the Italians paying a club-record £73million for his services.
The attacker was considered surplus to requirements at United in a frustrating final season in England which saw manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer prefer Marcus Rashford as first choice striker.
Lukaku took the time to discuss several issues on Twitter which a question on who he thinks is the most precocious talent at United propping up.
“Greenwood, that boy is cold!” Lukaku revealed.
The Nerazzurri forward also reserved words of praise for Chelsea duo, Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount.
When asked by an Everton fan if he will ever play in the Premier League again, Lukaku replied: “I don’t think so but I loved my time at Everton, for real.”
He was the quizzed by another fan on his time at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge and the Belgian explained that “both experiences were good”.
“Both experiences were good. People can say it was [bad] for me [but] it was good.
“One club gave me an opportunity to come to England and learn from my idols. The other came at the right time for me to make a step up and play in the Champions League,” he stated.
Lukaku then took the time to discuss the best team talk he had ever experienced as a professional footballer.
He credited Inter Milan manager, manager Antonio Conte for providing the most inspiring team talk in his career, despite having played under Jose Mourinho, Ronald Koeman and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
“When we were 2-0 down against AC Milan. He didn’t scream at all, he told us what to do and where to find space and we did the business.”
Inter scored four second half goals to win 4-2 in the encounter decided at the Guiseppe Meazza Stadium on February 9, 2020.
Lukaku concluded by outlining the main differences between football in Italy and in England.
“Tactically here (Italy) you get tested every week. The speed in the Prem is higher,” Lukaku revealed.
