Ziyech dreams Chelsea switch

Moroccan international striker, Hakim Ziyech insists he will still join Chelsea player this summer.
It has been reported in some quarters that his move from Ajax could be halted by outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic which has greatly affected the sport calendar.
Chelsea and Ajax agreed a £37million deal for Ziyech in January that saw the Dutch club keep the Morocco international for the rest of the season.
The 27-year-old is set to join the Blues on July 1.
The Eredivisie announced on Friday that the 2019/20 season had been cancelled with Ajax not awarded the title despite sitting top of the league.
Several other domestic leagues across Europe are however hopeful of restarting, meaning it is still unclear when the season will be finished and when the transfer window will open but Ziyech remains upbeat.
“I really haven’t been serious about that for a second,” the winger told AD.
“I think my signature is under the contract and so yes, on July 1, I will be a Chelsea player. I never had any other thought,” he said.
Ziyech then discussed the Eredivisie’s decision to void the season and not awarding the title to Ajax.
It would have represented Ajax’s 35th Eredivisie title after the season was ended with his side top of the table, level on points with AZ Alkmaar, but ahead on goal difference.
“Come on, what nonsense I have heard,” said Ziyech.
“We are at the top anyway – all those stories that AZ deserved more because they won twice against us.
“So the goal difference, as it always is, doesn’t count now? B*******, of course. How did PSV become champion in 2007? Exactly, on one goal.
“That we are not official champions, well, of course I would also have preferred to have won that on the field, but if you have to choose one club as champion then that would be Ajax to me,” Ziyech concluded.
